Countries where porn are forbidden
The internet is a wild place. You can pretty much see everything and anything on the internet as long as you have the guts and the stomach to look for the content. No matter where you go or what part of the internet you are on, you’re bound to see something so crazy that you are not able to believe it, and yet you do believe in it because it probably happened in Russia. If you have access to the world wide web, you have access to everything on the internet. You can check out the world’s knowledge, watch millions and millions and movies and videos, and visit dozens of different websites that can help you talk to others and make friends. If you’re the type of person who loves politics, there is a never-ending supply of political sites where you can exercise your keyboard Warrior skills all day and night long. And of course, in every language on Earth and every country on Earth, a person has access to pornography, right?
You probably knew this already, but in case you did it, there are a few countries in the world where you can access almost anything and everything except pornography. And of course, it is not the people who restrict the consumption of pornography from their fellow neighbors. It is the government. Several different governments worldwide have blocked citizens from connecting to websites that have some form of pornography. And I thought my government was oppressive! So before you fly off and take a vacation to another country, check out this list of countries that care very much about what you watch in your own home.
Completely Illegal
China
When we found out that China has several laws that completely ban all viewing, possession, distribution, and creation of pornography, we are very surprised. China has over 1.2 billion people in the country. So that means that 15% of the entire world population is not allowed to view any form of pornography. That’s completely wild. At least, I suspected that all pornography created by non-Chinese sites that exist outside the great Chinese firewall would be illegal, but all pornography is, in fact, illegal. But just because pornography is illegal in China doesn’t mean that it is not watched. It is secretly distributed around the entire country. But if you’re caught, you will be charged with some serious punishments. If you are caught looking at porn in China, You can go to prison for several years. If you are caught creating pornography, whether you are the actor, actress, cameraman, or director, that’s a life sentence.
Iran
You probably expected at least one Middle Eastern country on this list, and you’ll definitely be right. Iran created several laws around 1983 that made watching and owning pornography paraphernalia illegal. Iran monitors many different websites and social media sites and restricts a lot of speech on the internet. So it’s not just pornography that is censored. If an Iranian is caught acting or helping produce a pornographic film, they will be sentenced to death by execution. However, things have changed a little bit. While the execution for production law still remains in effect, the government eventually had to bow to the citizens who did want to see some of the more mild porn videos. As long as you don’t watch too much, it is okay to view some videos.
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia has some very strict laws regarding the consumption of pornography. Like many other Middle Eastern countries, it is illegal to possess or consume any adult videos. The laws are so strict that even dirty comic strips are legal as well. Actually, if you ever plan on going to Saudi Arabia, clear out your internet browser, and delete any adult videos from your laptop or tablet. The police and those who perform security at airports have the right to go through your electronics and see if there are any links to pornography. On second thought, maybe it’s better to go to a different country where you won’t be thrown in jail for looking at a simple video. I hear Fiji’s nice. Oh, what am I talking about? Fiji’s always nice.
Has some restrictions
Japan
Now, I know you know that there is pornography created and viewed in Japan. Many of the videos that we have in our Asian section come directly from Japan. However, that does not mean that the Japanese government that regulates pornography allows adult film studios to show whatever they like. No matter what type of pornography you are making, real-life or hentai, the genitals of the actors, actresses, and the cartoon characters must be completely blurred. You can even see this law in action in hentai manga. Next time you pick up your old man time mega from underneath your bed (I know you have one... 😉 ), look at the pictures of one of the characters’ genitals. There will be a white or black line running through their private parts. This is what the law mandates hentai artists to do.
Brazil
Brazil does not have many laws keeping pornography from its citizens. As long as you’re over the age of Sixteen, you are allowed to view porn. However, if you are a porn producer or adult film studio that creates pornography in Brazil, you’re actors have to wear condoms in all of your videos. Once we thought about this law, we realized that it made sense. It also teaches teenagers to use condoms during sex.
Conclusion
This is definitely not the entire list of countries with restrictions on pornography or have made it completely illegal. The next time you decide to vacation somewhere you’ve never lived before, check out the law send decide if you want to travel to that place more than you want to beat your meat. Or you can always just download a VPN and use privacy mode on your browser. It’s up to you. Just don’t tell anybody what you’re doing.
