Keep others and Yourself safe During the Coronavirus Pandemic

As of May 2020, the coronavirus pandemic has been raging through our planet for around six months. The first victim was China, as it was the birthplace of COVID-19. The second area it raged through was the immediate countries next to China, like Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. And now it has reached across the entire world. The death tolls are rising, and tens of thousands a day are being infected. So, we must be responsible and warn our many viewers on how to protect themselves and others during the coronavirus pandemic.
Wash your hands at the sink for 20 seconds with hot water and soap
For such a deadly, destructive virus, it is surprising to many people that washing their hands with heated water and soap for about 20 seconds can keep them safe. But it all depends on the virus’s outer structure. Many scientists have stated that the protective layer of the virus is created from a fat layer called a bilipid layer. But any home chef and plumber can tell you exactly what happens to fat when it is exposed to soap. It breaks down and dissolves. So when you wash your hands with hot water and soap, you can kill the protective layer that keeps the virus alive. Also, it may be weird that the CDC itself has to remind adult Americans to wash their hands regularly, but apparently, they need to hear it. Hot water and soap can destroy many bacteria as well, so not only will they be protecting themselves from the coronavirus, they will be able to protect themselves from other germs like E-Coli and salmonella as well.
Hand sanitizer
If hot water and soap were the infantry of the bacterial world, then hand sanitizer is the airstrikes. The chemicals in hand sanitizer have the ability to dissolve the protein layer around bacterias and viruses, which causes their contents to spill out of their body and kill them instantaneously. Although sanitizer does not work for all viruses, especially the stronger ones, the CDC and the WHO have discovered that it does work on COVID-19. If you are unable to acquire hand sanitizer, like most other people in the United States, then you can make your own.
You can mix hydrogen peroxide with boiled water and isopropyl alcohol. This is a basic recipe for most hand sanitizers, so you’ll be able to protect your hands while you are out shopping. Many people also add glyceryl because it prevents their hands from drying out due to isopropyl alcohol.
You need to wear a cover or a mask.
Health organizations all over the country are advising Americans to wear masks whenever they leave their homes. In many stores and buildings, it is now a requirement, or you can be thrown out. The best mask to wear is called the N95 mask, which filters out viruses and bacteria in the air, but these are in short supply and always go to medical personnel. But even if you can’t get the best mask, you still have to wear one. The purpose of a regular mask is to prevent liquid droplets of your spit and breath from infecting the area around you. The more people who wear masks when they are in public, then the more people who are safe from the virus being transmitted from person to person. And always stand away from people and don’t allow strangers to be near you. You will have to verbally tell people to back away from you, but it is a necessity if you want to be disease-free while your shopping at the supermarket.
Give yourself time to cope.
We understand that staying in your home for a long and undetermined amount of time may seem easy, but it can be quite difficult. Every person has their own routine throughout the week, and many people feel off if they don’t carry out their routine. This pandemic will turn many people’s lives upside, so we should expect to see more anxiety and fear in the general population. So this is not a time for anyone to try and add extra responsibilities to their life. Now’s the time to slow down and relax; your mind and stress levels come first.
Don’t fall for the harmful conspiracies.
There is a surprising amount of controversies and conspiracies around COVID-19. From the virus being transmitted through 5G Towers to it being a secret government lab experiment gone wrong, all the way to the Illuminati trying to unleash a virus upon the Earth so they can steal our human rights, the stories never end. And many of these stories also say the same thing, that the coronavirus just like the common cold and you will be fine if you.contract it. But that’s not true. The coronavirus is not like the flu; it is its own virus that causes the lungs to fill with fluid, and many people also experience heart attacks because of it. So if you want to stay safe, then you need to disregard what the conspiracy theories are saying.
Quick note:
If you are trying to make a loved one stay at home and they are someone who believes that the virus is deadly, but it was created in a lab or part of a super-secret underground terrorism unit, then just agree with them. It might sound strange and counterintuitive, but if you validate their argument on how the virus was created, then you might be able to keep them at home. Their belief that the virus is dangerous is the most important part of their belief, and by believing them in this one aspect, you may be able to convince them and make them stay home.
Conclusion
No matter what comes, we must be prepared for a dark and gloomy year ahead of us. You must take your health seriously and do your best to convince those who did not believe that the virus is real and deadly. As well, you should make sure to wash your hands with hot soap and water for 20 seconds throughout the day and always wear a mask whenever you go out. Do not take a chance with your own life.
