Early life
Lane grew up in upstate New York with four brothers. Her family was conservative, with only Christian or country music played in their home.
Athletic throughout her life, Lane participated in many sports, including wrestling (on the boys' wrestling team), track, cross country, and cheerleading. She currently practices kick boxing, pilates, and yoga to maintain flexibility.
Career
The day Vanessa turned eighteen she began working as an exotic dancer. She worked her way along the East Coast, the Gulf Coast, and finally to the West Coast where she began working in adult films shortly after her twentieth birthday.
Some of her films include All She Wants And More, All Tied Up, Big Tease, Circus, Dementia, Girls Gone Skiing, Hidden Desires, Sodom, and Lexie and Monique Love Rocco.
Vanessa's mainstream work includes an appearance on Dr. 90210 on E!. She wanted Dr. Robert Rey to redo her breast augmentation, replacing her saline implants with silicone implants, but the surgeon first postponed the operation due to her smoking, then cancelled it altogether when he found out she had not quit the habit. This is because smoking increases the risk of complication during surgery.[2]
She was nominated, but was not a finalist, for the Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment Awards Favorite Oral Starlet in 2006, and Favorite Oral Starlet and Favorite Ass in 2007
