Quick history of GirlsDoPorn
As if the pornographic industry to get any more abusive, the next level of evil is attributed to the website GirlsDoPorn. In its heyday, this website was created to trick girls and women by offering them a high amount of money to take part in privately made videos that were only sold to buyers and never put on the internet. This company quickly took advantage of the women they recruited by forcing them into employment and using them as they please. But what is the history behind GirlsDoPorn, and what has happened to it since then?
The Invention of GirlsDoPorn
Created in 2009, the website GirlsDoPorn marketed itself as a pornographic production agency that tailored its content to wealthy clients. One of their main features that attracted newcomers to the website was that the owners said the content would not go on the internet. It was only printed onto DVD’s and sold to private individuals.
The creator and owner of the website, Michael Pratt, also worked as the editor. One of his childhood friends, Matt Wolfe, was a cameraman as well as the co-owner of the site. Michael Pratt came up with the GirlsDoPorn idea around 2006. He had already been working in the pornographic industry for about nine years. He started in the year 2000. Before he invented GirlsDoPorn, he had several unaccessible pornographic ventures such as TeenieFlixxx and Cutekittens.
How the girls were recruited
By using fake modeling websites that they created, they were able to lure women who wanted to get into the entertainment industry. They also posted advertisements for models on Craigslist in different sections in small towns and college city forums.
Michael Pratt and Matthew Wolf, along with another man named Ruben Garcia, would falsify their names when they met these women and would have them sign contracts without adding the name or logo of their website GirlsDoPorn onto the contract. Only after the girls sign the contract was it revealed that the job was not for modeling, but for starring in a pornographic film. Sometimes they made young women from all over the country go all the way to San Diego only to reveal that they had to have sex on camera.
Sometimes, they would trick the women by rushing them through the contract, including extremely difficult language to understand or saying that the contract was for tax purposes.
If the women did not sign the contract while they were there with the men, they would be harassed by the company as they went about their week. They would be called at all hours of the day and night and constantly asked if they were going to continue on with the job. Many girls were even offered $2,000 to $6,000 to appear in a single film.
When the women were signed on to the company, the other associates, not the actresses, called the company OnePlus media instead of GirlsDoPorn. This further confused the women on who they were actually employed by.
In a lawsuit filed by 22 women and 2016, it was revealed that the owners and associates of the website GirlsDoPorn got the girls drunk before they made them sign the contract, made them smoke marijuana, gave them cocaine, or pressured them into signing.
How they made their videos
Initially, the girls were offered a large sum of money to appear only in a 30-minute video. But this enticing offer turned out to be false. When the filming started, a shooting would last anywhere from 2 to 7 hours. Many of the women were not care for if they received sexual injuries while filming. The actresses experienced vaginal bleeding, bruising, and injuries from violent sex and the director would often ignore a girl’s pain and forced them to keep filming. One woman even vomited into her mouth and began choking, but she was told to keep going.
If any of the women flat out refused to keep going, they were threatened with repaying the cost of the hotel they were saying it, which was always a 4-star hotel. Paying back a 4-star hotel was something they could not do, so they were forced to continue. Not only were the videos for GirlsDoPorn filmed under these circumstances, but Michael Pratt also created a second website called GirlsDoToys. The films created for this new website were also done simultaneously and in the same location.
Wolf, Pratt, and Garcia, abused their power as the owners of the website to have sex with the girls that were filming. They would dismiss the cameraman and keep a woman inside the room until she did what they wanted. A few women ended up contracting an STD from Garcia.
The takedown
In 2016, a massive lawsuit was finally filed against Garcia, Pratt, and Wolf and the company GirlsDoPorn. One year later, the lawsuit had over 22 plaintiffs. Within the lawsuit, the women spoke of all the horrific practices they had to endure while working for the owners of GirlsDoPorn. A few girls even revealed that they were 17 years old when they have to perform some of the films. Later on, the lawsuit would include three other workers that abused women and a cameraman and two administrative assistants.
The women’s lawsuit won, and they were awarded a grand total of 12.7 million dollars:

They were given all the rights to any of the videos that they had created the judge ordered the images, videos, and their names, to be pulled from all pornographic websites from the internet. In a separate lawsuit, two men were charged with sex trafficking.
The website GirlsDoPorn finally went offline in January 2020.
Conclusion
Unlike many other stories, the story of GirlsDoPorn ends on a high note with the women who were abused, taking back their power from their abusers and landing two of them in jail. One is currently on the run and has not been seen since. With so many women and men in the pornographic industry, it boggles the mind as to why a person would treat their fellow human beings so terribly. But the owners of GirlsDoPorn have all the time in the world now to ponder that question as they rot in prison.
